-

Staff at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (SASH) have been praised by chief executive Michael Wilson, CBE. He said he was ‘very proud ‘of the way in which staff have pulled together. He added: “I have witnessed so many examples of people supporting each other and heard countless more; thank you.” Many staff members are going the extra mile, including consultant surgeon Mr Simon Monkhouse who dropped off supplies to a patient and associate director of women’s and children’s services Bill Kilvington who returned from retirement to help combat the virus. Horsham MP Jeremy Quin added: “Words cannot adequately express our thanks and admiration to all those in our Health and Care sectors for all they are doing to look after us at this desperately difficult time.” The SASH team are pictured on our front page alongside other care and health workers from across West Sussex.
