Be patient and we’ll see this out
A letter from me was published in your March 25 edition.
I was writing about how I was shocked and angry regarding the lack of ‘social distancing’ observed by shoppers and the lack of control by the a supermarket in Storrington to encourage such distancing.
I am now writing to express my thanks to all the food shops and pharmacies in Storrington for the effective measures they have taken.
I have also noticed that people doing their exercise walks are keeping a good distance from others.
I have now been in a position to tell my friends and relatives in the UK and elsewhere how lucky we are to live in a place where the shelves are pretty full and there is respect for others.
We have now had a little over two weeks of discipline, significantly less than many other countries, so let us be patient and we will see this out. JOHN COLE-BAKER Holly Court, Storrington
