Operation Watershed funding approved
The latest applications for funding to solve flooding problems across West Sussex are set to be approved by the county council.
Operation Watershed has a total budget of £375,000 for 2020/21.
In the latest period, four applications asking for a total of £34,769.30 have been received and are set to be approved.
Friends of Middleton on Sea Pond & Green Charity is set to receive £20,210 to de-silt the pond, clear the adjoining ditches and shore up the banks.
Findon Parish Council bid for £7,240.00 to install a new soakaway and pipe lining repair works to stop surface water flooding in Stable Lane.
Fittleworth Parish Council has requested £4,862.30 to replace the existing culvert in Little Bognor, while Ansty and Staplefield Parish Council wants £2,457.00 to dig trenches at Staplefield Play Park to improve drainage there.
