Asher Williams, 38, of Harriet Tubman Close, Lambeth, London, pleaded guilty to driving an Audi vehicle, on the M23, at Crawley, on August 10, with cannabis in his blood stream. He also pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance at Crawley on the same date. He was fined £960 and banned from driving for three years.
Alan Lambert, 66, of Glebe Close, Leatherhead, Surrey, pleaded guilty to being the driver of a Toyota vehicle which failed to stop following an accident in which injury was caused to another person at Slinfold on February 8 2020. He was fined £120 and his driving record endorsed with eight penalty points.
February 24:
Stephen Chapman, 31, of Rectory Close, Pulborough, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer. The offence took place at Horsham on August 25. He was given a one year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £50 in compensation and £100 in prosecution costs.
Garry Moss, 39, of Onslow Walk, Broadbridge Heath, Horsham, was found guilty of driving a Volkswagen Golf on Forest Road, Horsham, on October 27, 2019, while more than twice over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 83 microgrammes. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. He was fined £150 and ordered to pay £380 in prosecution costs. He was banned from driving for 20 months.
