Shoppers go on a spree

Shoppers welcomed the return of nonessential shops by spending more than normal, figures suggest. Banking firm Revolut analysed the data of 17,000 of its customers in Horsham on April 1218, comparing it to the average weekly spend in February 2020. Horsham shoppers spent 2% more on average, but the first day saw 88% more splurged than the average Monday.
