Dementia Support has launched a new website with colourful ‘zones’ and a 3D tour of Sage House, the charity’s centre in West Sussex.

During lockdown, with its customers having to shield, the charity recognised that its online information was more important than ever, and it needed to be accessible and easy to use for everybody needing information and useful resources about dementia.

The new website features coloured ‘zones’ to help with navigation to different areas of the website. This mimics their use of colour at Sage House, the charity’s hub in Tangmere, which is a tool used to help people navigate the building independently and with ease.

Sally Tabbner, CEO of Dementia Support, said: “I

am very excited to share the new website with the public. You can really get to know us from it, including meeting the team, learning more about

how we support those living with dementia and there are also some really useful resources that can be used by people at home when living

with dementia.

“People can now take a 3D tour of Sage House, which is great for people who want to familiarise themselves with the building before visiting, and you can also find out how you can support the charity, so join us at www. dementiasupport.org.uk.”

Dementia Support is dedicated to supporting people living with dementia throughout their whole journey, as well as their loved ones and carers, from pre-diagnosis to end of life through their unique, free Wayfinding service.

Alongside this, the charity offers respite and personal care services at Sage House for people in West Sussex, in line with the current Covid restrictions.

The vision of Dementia Support is ‘a society where dementia is wholly understood and accepted, enabling people living with dementia to be fully supported throughout the whole of their journey’.

If you, or a loved one, need support or advice, contact the charity’s free Wayfinder Service on 01243 888691 whether you have a formal diagnosis yet or not.
