Bluebelles are blossoming in the gym world
Like many other groups, the Horsham Bluebelles have not been able train together or enter competitions for many months.
But, a fortnight ago, 13 girls competed in their first ever virtual competition.
Through the wonders of Zoom they practised with their teachers and once again their hard work paid off when they were awarded 42 medals and 16 first-place sashes.
The girls usually compete in four competitions a year, along with many fetes and displays, and have really missed these and just being with each other.
The girls were very excited when there was a chance of competing in a virtual competition. Luckily the weather held and with the wonders of zoom, each girl was filmed by a parent, doing their routines in their garden.
It gave the girls the lift they needed after the long months of isolation.
The girls have another virtual competition in June but the Bluebelles hope their winter competition will be back in a sports hall, where the girls can compete as a team.
The girls hope to be back training on Monday where they will be ready to welcome girls and boys from the age of four.
