Sussex is awash with a sea of colour as bluebells spring into full bloom throughout both counties.
Their deep violet-blue and distinctive bell-shaped flower make native bluebells one of our best-known plants and Sussex is filled with a number of fantastic walks in which to enjoy them and other flowers including stunning white wood anemones.

Angmering Park Estate, Dover Lane (car park), Angmering, West Sussex BN18 9PX
This privately owned, traditional agricultural estate in the heart of the South Downs, boost some beautiful bluebells.

This ancient and secondary woodland and open heathland combine at this spot in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and you can combine bluebell spotting with waterside views.

A delightful small woodland popular with dog walkers. In the spring it is carpeted with white anemones. Walk through the trees to find a lovely grassy space and children’s play area.

Ebernoe Common, Near Petworth, West Sussex, GU35 9LD
This varied ancient wooded area, now a Sussex Wildlife Trust nature reserve, incorporates ponds, streams, meadows and reclaimed arable land boasting a variety of sites including spectacular bluebells.
The nearby Mens nature reserve is another bluebell spot near Petworth.
