Bar billiards season comes to exciting end
The Billingshurst Bar Billiards League held its finals night at Alfold Social Club.
John Slee (RSSC A) put behind him last year's final defeat to win his seventh Billingshurst Singles title, beating Keith 'Noggs' Newman, who was also runner-up in the Open Pairs partnering Dave Howlett.
Father and son Dick and Ricky Dewdney retained the Open Pairs for Cricketers who took a hatful of awards.
The Team Cup and Team Plate finals were also played. John lost both his games in the Team Cup as Windmill GG came from behind to win a double, beating Roffey SSC A 3-2.
