Tues­day Jan­uary 22, 10am: Meet at Cross­ways Lane at the A23 and the A272 junc­tion, Bol­ney, RH17 5RN (TQ 266224). Bol­ney, An­sty and Cuck­field. Walk through An­sty to Cuck­field for a pic­nic lunch and a pub stop, re­turn­ing along the High Weald Land­scape Trail through Cuck­field Park, Black For­est and Bol­ney Vil­lage. Sun­day Jan­uary 20, 10am: Meet in the Na­tional Trust car park at Ny­mans Gar­dens, Hand­cross (OL34, TQ 263297). (Note: Free to NT mem­bers, don’t for­get your mem­ber­ship card.) Walk via Dit­ton Place, Sid­nye Farm, Sta­ple­field (L), Hand­cross. A 9½ mile walk with 6 miles be­fore lunch and one short steep hill.

Satur­day Jan­uary 19, 2pm: Meet at Stor­ring­ton Re­cre­ation Ground car park, RH20 4BG. 3.6 miles ex­plor­ing the coun­try paths to Parham Glider Field. A flat and easy route. Dogs wel­come. Sun­day Jan­uary 20, 10am: Meet in Kithurst Hill car park (TQ 070124). 7.4 miles ex­plor­ing the South Downs, above Am­ber­ley be­fore drop­ping down to North Stoke. In­cludes a steep hill. Wed­nes­day Jan­uary 23, 10am: Park and meet at Pitch Hill car park near the quarry, GU6 7NN (TQ 079426), 300 yards on the right be­yond the Wind­mill Pub­lic House north of Ewhurst vil­lage. 6½ miles, in­cludes some climbs. Re­fresh­ment break at the Peaslake. Mag­nif­i­cent views south from Pitch Hill. Dogs wel­come. 3 hours. Mike 07855 502023.
