Stop abuse of the elderly

As a society, we pride ourselves on helping those less well off than us.

West Sussex is home to many charities and groups that offer support to tens of thousands of local residents. It is great news that the latest charity to set up in the county aims to prevent the abuse of the elderly.

Action on Elder Abuse has now moved into the county and will support some of the estimated 3,100 senior citizens whi have been targeted by criminals. It is sad that such an organisation is needed but their work is to be applauded.
