Character cottage close to waterfront

-

Churchill Cottage is a delightful Grade II listed period cottage, part of a terrace of similar cottages set just yards away from the waterfront of Bosham Harbour. This picturesque setting combined with the character of the cottage make it an ideal holiday cottage for anyone looking for that escape from modem life.

Churchill Cottage is set over three floors.

To the ground floor is an open-plan kitchen and dining space that has been well thought out.

The kitchen offers a great space in which to cook, with a good amount of worktop and storage space, as well as an integrated NEFF electric oven with gas hob above.

The dining area has room for a table and chain or benches.

To the first floor, there is a bright and airy, dualaspect reception room, although this space could also be used as a bedroom, if required.

This room offers a homely space in which to relax and unwind, whether it be on a warm summer evening or a chilly winter’s day.

Stairs lead from this reception room to the second floor, where the principle bedroom and bathroom are to be found.

The bedroom has a southerly aspect dormer window, from which a glimpse of the harbour can be seen.

The bright bathroom, with its south facing Velux window, has a bath with shower over, as well as a hand basin and toilet.

The cottage is situated in one of the more soughtafter locations in the heart of this highly desirable sailing village, just a short walk to the waterfront.

The highly regarded harbour village has been associated with the sea ever since Roman times and is now a wonderful centre for sailing, with a multitude of moorings for boats and yachts and a long established sailing club.

Old Bosham, as it is known locally, has a fascinating history and the chancel of its Saxon church is featured in the Bayeux Tapestry.

The village has a primary school, two public houses, a popular hotel/restaurant, tearooms, arts and crafts centre and a large farm shop with post office and medical centre all in dose proximity.
