Homes plans lodged

Outline plans for up to 265 new homes in Steyning have been submitted.

The application to Horsham District Council concerns land north of Glebe Farm and Kings Barn Lane. It includes the demolition of 37 Kings Barn Lane, to provide access for pedestrians, cyclists and in emergencies, with vehicle access for the development to be from the A283 Steyning bypass.

The application also includes the provision of public open space and community orchard.
