ESTABLISHED 1853 ‘We wunt be druv’

Two weeks ago we launched our front-page campaign, calling on the Prime Minister to act on his pledge to focus on brownfield housebuilding instead of concreting over green fields.

The subject continues to dominate our letters pages

– and we are certainly not stopping in our quest to raise awareness of the scale of the problem in our county.

This week, we have worked with Save Our South Coast Alliance – we thank and applaud them for their guest comment. And from next week, we will be focusing on some of the under-threat greenfield sites and residents’ groups will be highlighting why building on them would be a disaster.
