Ploughmen go head-to-head for coveted title
Dozens of competitors tried to out-plough each other on Saturday (October 16) at the Sussex County Ploughing Match.
The event, which was organised by the Sussex County Ploughing Association, took place from 10am at Hookhouse Farm in Isaac’s Lane near Haywards Heath.
The award for County Champion 2021 went to William Tupper in the premier reversible class.
The event, which was held by kind permission of the Kleinwort Family, featured an eye-catching variety of classic tractors, and participants and spectators could enjoy refreshments, a cake stall and a bar.
