Archer’s ‘Robin Hood’

Archers at Leaping Hart Archery Club in Midhurst were amazed when Darren Pauling shot his arrow in the style of the legendary outlaw Robin Hood this week.

Michael Chevis, who founded the club four years ago, said: “Robin Hood is the term used byarcherswhenonearrowsplits the other, and this was done here to perfection.

“This is a very unusual event and is the first since the club started over four years ago in 2017.Thedistanceoftheshotwas 30yards.

“Quite often you will see what theycallaRobinHoodbutthisone was all the way through.”
