Cash for stations
Several of West Sussex’s fire stations are in line for investment as part of the service’s aspirations to improve its estate.
A total of £1.85million is due to be spent on welfare improvements, contamination remediation, accessibility and community/ training areas at fire stations in Bognor Regis, Haywards Heath, Littlehampton, Selsey and Shoreham.
Extra investment will be requested to address the estates improvements required on a further 18 stations, the fire service confirmed.
