Bypass protest

Protesters joined forces, in front of Arundel Castle to voice their concerns against the A27 bypass.

Members of Stop the Arundel Bypass Alliance joined Extinction Rebellion representatives, from Brighton, Worthing and Petworth, last Saturday.

Arundel resident Simon asked: “Why are we building a half a million pound road, when there is a climate emergency?”

Emma Tristram, a demonstration organiser, said it had a good turn-out, adding: “ExtinctionRebellionisworking with people struggling to stop damaging road schemes.”
