Eco-idea a winner
A Chichester student has been recognised for her submission of a proposal to tackle climate change in a competition hosted by MP Gillian Keegan.
Edelyn Spina, from Chichester High School, won for her idea to use public land to plant more trees and improve biodiversity.
In a letter to Edelyn, Mrs Keegan said: “Your emphasis on the need to raise awareness and pass on learnings both up and down the generations was really brilliant and an important point. I have no doubt you have a bright future as a community leader and environmentalist.”
