West Sussex is at its brilliant, blooming best this spring.

As already featured in our news pages, the annual Arundel Castle Tulip Festival is framing the castle in a sea of colour – but it is not just here that stunning scenes can be found.

My family and I took a walk in the woodland at the Angmering Park Estate at the weekend, enjoying the tranquil surroundings and carpets of bluebells.

Coombes Farm, near Lancing, was also bathed in sunshine for our visit on Saturday to catch the end of its open lambing season.

We are truly fortunate to live in such a lovely part of the country.
