More bank holidays?

Another bank-holiday weekend is behind us.

This year, due to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, we will observe an extra bank holiday. June 3 is the day in question.

There have been calls by some for this to be made permanent. But would you support this?

Bank holidays can be a headache for weekly newspaper editors, with crucial production time lost, however for others, a break from work can be an important time to recharge batteries.
