Destroying our beautiful planet

Whilst we listen to the news about a group of protesters (‘Just Stop Oil’) protesting about climate change, the use of fossil fuels and the blockading of a petrol station on the M25, that same day I visited the Science Museum in London and I thought some of your readersmight be interested in what I read.

‘Climate change is the most important challenge of our time. The most critical action now is to rapidly reduce carbon dioxide, other greenhouse gas emissions globally from transport, homes, industry, agriculture, to limit the impact of climate change’.

So perhaps these protestors, rightly or wrongly, are trying to tell us something we already know but we choose not to listen.

Unless the human race realises we are destroying our planet there will be no world left for future generations. JOHN BOXALL
