Running the marathon

-

Last year, London Marathon runners raised a staggering £900,000 for children’s charity the NSPCC.

That’s enough for our trained Childline volunteers to potentially answer 225,000 calls from children in need of help and support.

This year, we have 647 places in the world’s biggest marathon and we’re looking for people across Sussex to sign up and be a part of Team NSPCC.

Taking part in this year’s TCS London Marathon couldn’t be simpler.

If you can’t join your fellow runners on the Greenwich starting line, you can complete the 26.2 miles virtually, at your own pace, on a course of your choice.

With 24 hours on the clock, you can take as long as you need.

To sign up, visit nspcc.org. uk/charity-events and apply for a charity place.

There’s a registration fee of £100 and we ask that you raise a minimum of £2,200.

If you’ve already bought your own place directly and want to fundraise for us, you can still join Team NSPCC.

Visit our website to find out more.

By joining Team NSPCC, you’ll receive a personalised running vest, training support from our partners, Full Potential, including regular Zoom calls and training plan bespoke to you, and a postrace reception where you can enjoy food, fizz and that all important post-marathon massage.

Together, we can protect children from abuse.

That's why we need unstoppable, passionate people like you to join our London Marathon Team.

Because every childhood is worth fighting for. Kate Hershkowitz NSPCC supporter fundraising manager for the South East, c/o Curtain Road, London
