Plane forced to return to airport

A FLIGHT from Bristol Airport had to make an emergency landing after a “minor technical problem” was identified with one of its engines.

The problem was spotted on the TUI flight to Tenerife shortly after take-off and the plane was diverted back to the airport.

Flight path imagery showed the plane passed over the outermost tip of Cornwall before turning back.

The TOM6508 flight landed safely at 1.10pm yesterday.
