MP’s comment on marriage is a bit rich

I FELT I must comment on Michael Tomlinson’s MP statement that the “rich get married and stay together the poor do not” ( Western Daily Press, October 31).

You only have to think of the richest family in Great Britain, namely the Royal Family, to realise what arrant nonsense this is. The Queen, for whom I have the greatest admiration, is unfortunate to have

seen four of her closest relations married and divorced.

Of course I refer to her sister, Margaret, and three of her children, Charles, Anne and Andrew. L C Lewis By email
