Firefighters rescue horse trapped in barbed wire
FIREFIGHTERS in Devon were called last weekend to rescue a horse which had become trapped in a barbed wire fence.
Two crews were called to the field close to the A379 near Modbury on Sunday, November 4, just after 2pm in the afternoon.
The specialist rescue team from Camels Head in Plymouth joined firefighters from Kingsbridge to free the 16-year-old horse.
They used small tools to cut the animal free and return it safely to its owner.
