Where’s the outrage over fragrance ad?
FEMINISTS are forever complaining about the fact that so much advertising today ‘objectifies’ women and demeans them.
But I don’t think I have ever seen an advertisement that objectifies women anywhere near as much as the latest Paco Rabanne advertisement for its ‘Pure XS for Him’ objectifies males – in which a group of women collapse in a heap after watching a young man strip.
I am not aware that there have been any cries of outrage over it.
But then there wouldn’t be, would there?
A fine example of double standards, n’est-ce pas?
