Morris calls for recovery
CINDERFORD face the daunting prospect of entertaining jointNational League One leaders Old Elthamians after a chastening two weeks that saw back-to-back defeats without scoring a try.
The Foresters lost 20-3 at Rotherham last weekend after failing to score a point in an 11-0 defeat against Bishop’s Stortford in their last home game.
Director of rugby Paul Morris said: “It’s been a disappointing two weeks for us and we can’t hide the fact.
“After beating Caldy away and drawing with Blackheath, we’ve taken a temporary dip.
“We have no hard luck stories. The reason for the two defeats lies firmly within ourselves.
“We’ve been beaten too easily and too early in the game for a team that has the ability that we have.”
