Garvey the only change to Bath’s winning team

-

BATH Rugby have made just one change to their side to face Leicester Tigers at the Rec tomorrow.

Following last weekend’s victory over Wasps, Matt Garvey, pictured, returns to the starting line-up to cocaptain the side and will join Elliott Stooke in the second row.

Nathan Catt, Tom Dunn and Henry Thomas continue in the front row with Tom Ellis, Sam Underhill and Francois Louw completing the forwards’ pack.

Will Chudley joins Garvey as cocaptain after leading the team to a 24-14 victory last weekend. A try scorer in that game, Chudley starts at scrum-half alongside Freddie Burns, who contributed 19 points in a man of the match performance at the Ricoh Arena.

Jamie Roberts and Max Wright form the midfield pairing for the Blue, Black and Whites, with Ruaridh McConnochie and Semesa Rokoduguni looking to make an impact from the wings. James Wilson completes the back line at full-back.

Rhys Priestland and Charlie Ewels return to the squad as the duo are named among the replacements for Bath’s final game of 2018.

There is no action in the National Leagues this weekend. Cinderford, Taunton, Clifton, Dings and Old Reds will all be back playing again in the new year.

Hartpury RFC were in GKIPA Championship action at home to London Irish after the Daily Press went to press last night.
