Success should come before new stadium
I’M no rugby expert, so am I missing something in this dramatic promotional scheme to plonk a huge stadium into the middle of a small city like Bath?
Shouldn’t it require the club concerned to at least be a bit successful? At the time of writing, winning only three of its 13 games so far this season, conceding far more points than it has scored, and now getting media mentions as a relegation candidate, doesn’t look like success to me.
Perhaps, as the evidence suggests, the club’s management really is more interested in property development than building a successful club? What would I know, though?
