Probe after body found in flats

A MAJOR investigation has been launched after the body of a man was found in a block of flats in the Easton area of Bristol.

Police were called to Lansdowne Court on Thursday afternoon and found a man had died.

A 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. The man was arrested in nearby Newton Street.

Emergency services remained at the scene yesterday as officers carried out forensic examinations.
