Pensioner hurt in arrow attack

POLICE are hunting a yob who fired an arrow into a pensioner.

The 68-year-old man was chatting to a neighbour in his front garden when he sustained a wound to his arm.

He went to hospital for treatment to the wound following the incident between 4pm and 5pm on Thursday in Swindon.

Detective Constable Nigel Bullimore said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident, noticed anything unusual or has dash-cam footage which could help.’’
