Murder accused plead not guilty

TWO men accused of murder have pleaded not guilty.

Mark Robert Bosworth, aged 47, and Daniel Michael Ribton, aged 40, who are both from Weymouth, attended Winchester Crown Court yesterday.

They have been charged with murdering a 32-year-old man who was found with a head injury.

David Andrew Thomson, also from the town, suffered the injury at a property in Dorchester Road in Weymouth on Saturday, April 4. He was taken to hospital but died the following day.

A post-mortem examination carried out on Monday, April 6 concluded he died as a result of a head injury.

Both defendants entered not guilty pleas to all counts and the case has been adjourned for a trial which will take place on Monday, October 5.
