Brewers prepare to descend on Bristol

-

TOP West Country breweries will be joined by counterparts from around the world for the Bristol Craft Beer Festival next weekend.

The three-day event is bound to attract enthusiasts from around the region for one of the biggest festivals to happen in the West so far this summer.

It takes place from Friday, July 30, to Sunday, August 1, at the Lloyds Amphitheatre at Bristol Harbourside.

It will feature local DJs, while also bringing together a curation of the best craft breweries, local food traders and other artisan producers.

There will be more than 40 breweries to choose from, with additions to the line-up this year including Alpha Delta, Pastore, Beak and Bullhouse.

West breweries Wiper & True, Lost & Grounded, Left Handed Giant, Good Chemistry, Moor, Harbour and Wild Beer are joined by some of USA’s most exciting breweries, including Mountains Walking, Adroit Theory, The Brewing Project, Brix City and 18th Street.

There will also be a strong presence from Europe and elsewhere in Britain, plus Bristol street food outlets such as Jikoni’s x Arawelo Eats, Little Taquero, Popti & Beast x Asado and Two Belly.

Festival founder Greg Wells said: “Bristol Craft Beer Festival has always been more than just a beer festival – and this year that is especially true. While travel and logistics might sadly restrict a few breweries attending in person, there will still be hundreds of amazing beers from the best breweries both local and international.

“Bristol is a tremendous beer and food city; we have amazing producers right on our doorstep. We are very happy to bring the Bristol Craft Beer Festival back to the city and safely raise a glass in support of this awesome city.”
