TODAY’S the day hundreds of fantastic venues across the UK offer free entry, unmissable offers and special treats as part of National Lottery Open Week.

National Lottery-funded venues, from castles and cathedrals to gardens and galleries, threw open their doors and – during this week – invite you to explore at reduced cost, enjoy behind-the-scene tours or relax with cake and coffee on the house.

All the venues taking part have been supported by National Lottery funding. This is a big thank you to National Lottery players who raise £30 million for good causes every week and help various local attraction­s flourish.
