How can firm make such a promise?

HOW does E.on get away with TV advertisements promising that “All our customers get 100% renewable energy”?

I’d be interested to know how the energy giant manages to separate the energy fed to its customers

from the energy supplied by other companies whose energy may not be 100% renewable.

As far as I am aware, no matter from whom we buy our energy, it all comes down the same lines (or does E.on perhaps have its own lines?). Robert Readman
