Boy stabbed by balaclava gang

A TEENAGER was stabbed in a Wiltshire market town on Thursday evening.

Wiltshire Police said the boy was injured when he was assaulted by a group of male youths wearing balaclavas and carrying weapons on

Highworth’s High Street at about 8.30pm.

Detective Inspector Rachel Hardy said: “It’s vital that we hear from anyone who was in Highworth High Street last night at the time of the incident.

“The young victim is lucky not to have sustained very serious injuries.”

No arrests have been made.
