Daisy May’s new show hit by schedule changes

-

GLOUCESTERSHIRE’S Bafta-winning star Daisy May Cooper’s new TV series has been delayed.

The first episode of the This Country Star’s latest TV series was due to air last night but was postponed due to widespread changes to broadcast schedules.

Cooper shot scenes for the series Am I Being Unreasonable? across the West Country earlier this year. Villagers in Wookey near Wells in Somerset reported hearing screaming while she filmed the “twisted comedy thriller”. One observer said at the time: “There were lots of takes and it was very loud.”

The series has been described as a “twisted comedy thriller about obsessive friendship, maternal paranoia – and a dead cat”.

Cooper plays Nic and her best friend Jen is played by real-life buddy Seline Hizli.

Cooper said she wrote it as her marriage to Will Weston broke down during lockdown. They have two children, Pip, four and David, two.

Am I Being Unreasonable? now starts on BBC One at 9.50pm on Friday, September 23.
