Not impressed with timing of roadworks

-

I CAN get somewhat disgruntled and even unimpressed with some planners and council nincompoops, although I try no to get too cross about it.

I still can be unimpressed with some parts of the Somerset Council itself. Especially if mucking about with roadworkings at the wrong time. And I am speaking of these at Pensford interrupting the 376 bus to Wells. Especially last weekend from the 16th to 19th.

It doesn’t really impress me when some myopically challenged nitwits announce these roadworks at the most inappropriate time. By that consequences I am not impressed with that!

On the 17th of the month I was hoping to get to Wells for a service at the Cathedral. I was most put out by these confounding workings on the A37 at Pensford – with that Saturday the only chance I had to get to

Wells. As you may well imagine, that did right pickle me off! Especially over the weekend of Her Majesty’s funeral.

It wouldn’t have been too much of an imposition to postpone those roadworks until this week. So that was unfortunately apparently not inside logical reasoning. Hmmm!

Irritating is not a sufficient description of that!

Oh well, what’s done is done but ‘not pleased’ is still insufficient to describe my mood. I remain right pickled off!
