Suspected bank robber in court

A man is due to appear in court following a suspected armed bank robbery at Cabot Circus in Bristol on Thursday.

Yasin Naaleyeh, of no fixed abode, was due to appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

The 36-year-old has been charged with four counts of robbery, two of assaulting an emergency worker, three of possessing an offensive weapon in public and one of possession of cannabis.

He was arrested on a Bristol bus on Thursday.
