We should all give Liz Truss a chance

-

WILL the obviously biased and arrogant BBC never learn or even listen and act on what their viewers complain about?

Laura Kuenssberg last Sunday morning on her BBC programme, when interviewing our new Prime Minister, kept on trying to interrupt her, which is bad manners and annoying. Then when Jon Kay, on BBC1 ‘Breakfast’ on October 3, interviewed the new Chancellor of the Exchequer, he went on and on – even the glasses he was wearing, which I am sure were not his usual ones, were awful, as if he wanted to antagonise the Chancellor.

I used to think Jon Kay was a good choice to be on ‘Breakfast’ but not anymore. He was so full of his own importance and it was dreadful.

Then we heard Nick Eardley, the BBC’s political correspondent. He like all these TV people are so negative towards the new government and won’t give them a chance to succeed. I do wonder if they are telling us what they personally think and like the BBC are all Labour or Liberal supporters and like them all they want is a general election sooner rather than later.

The press and media need to give Liz Truss and her new government a chance, and not be so negative, like the opposition parties all they can/want to see is the negative side, forgetting any good she is trying to do. It seems it is the fashion to criticise and hound the Prime Minister, which started when Boris Johnson was PM.

As far as Conservative MPs are concerned, they need to stop complaining and give Liz Truss a chance and support her, otherwise they will not only lose their seats but the respect and confidence of their constituencies. She had a “baptism of fire” when she became Prime Minister, and with all the demands of having to sort out problems

immediately, instead of having more time, no wonder she and her Chancellor had a change of mind.

We all often change our minds, it is part of life, even Kier Starmer has done so in public when he said, although he is a Remainer, as PM he wouldn’t try to get back into the EU.

It is time the press, media and others stopped this witch hunt against Liz Truss and her government and give her time and space, she has got the guts and determination to make Britain a better place for all.
