Young using their loaf for retro hobbies
Young adults are increasingly picking up retro skills from bread making to knitting, a study reveals. Jewellery making and woodwork are also popular with 18 to 29-year-olds.
Four in 10 young adults have taken up a traditional hobby, the research found and more than a quarter have a vegetable patch or make their own jam.
Repair brand Sugru found half believe people are fixing items because of the rising cost of living.
Sugru co-founder Jane Ni Dhulchaointigh said: “There’s so much joy to be had from creating something with your hands.”
