WHAT’S YOUR DEAL?

HERE ARE SAVINGS FROM FOOD AND CHILDCARE TO TRAVEL AND DAYS OUT, SAYS TRICIA PHILLIPS

-

MONEY is tight and that means we must be smart with all our spending – and use every offer and discount available to slash bills and save cash.

If you put in a little leg work, it’s possible to find deals on almost everything.

Sometimes it is a simple matter of signing up to a loyalty scheme, such as Tesco Clubcard, which offers lower prices on groceries for members.

Or check out websites such as Voucher Codes to find the latest discount vouchers. And you can also shop online via sites such as Topcashback, which helps you find lower prices and also pays you cashback. Alternatively there’s Honey, which lets you find products you want at the best prices.

Sarah Coles, senior personal finance analyst at Hargreaves Lansdown, says: “With horrendous hikes in the cost of everything, we’re being forced to give up some of the things we love, and cut back on essentials, so discounts can make an enormous difference. “They can cut the cost of things you can’t live without, and in some cases they can bring down the price of those things that make life better, so you can squeeze them into your budget too.” But, it’s not just general discounts across the board, there are also specific deals available for certain groups of people. Here’s our guide to the best deals out there... no matter your age group.
