Body found in hunt for missing woman

A BODY has been discovered in Bristol during a search for a missing woman.

The police were told by a member of the public on Thursday that they had found a body near the A4 Portway.

It is believed to be that of missing Vivien from Clifton. The 75-year-old was last seen on Sunday, November 13.

Avon and Somerset Police has confirmed that her next of kin has been informed.

The circumstances around the death are not believed to be suspicious.
