Man critical after three-car crash

A MAN is fighting for his life after a three-car crash on the edge of Bath.

Police were called at 7.42pm on Thursday to the scene of the collision at Claverton Down

Road near the University of

Bath.

In a statement following the incident, police said: “One man is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, and another man was taken to hospital with a leg injury.”

The road was closed for some hours but reopened later in the night.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact them.
