Hornets hope to sting Dings

-

HORNETS and Dings Crusaders meet in a West Country derby in National League Two West today.

Despite their home advantage in the clash, the Weston-superMare-based Hornets will be big underdogs for the clash, lying 11th in the table with just two wins from ten games, while Dings are third with the opposite record – eight victories from ten.

Clifton, who are second in the standings, will be hopeful of a win against Newport, while Old Reds are away to Exeter University.

In National League One, the top-of-the-table Rams provide the opposition for hosts Taunton Titans. The Somerset side have won three of their ten matches so far this season, while the Readingbased table-toppers have a perfect ten out of ten record.

Cinderford, meanwhile, host Bishop’s Stortford with the teams fifth and sixth in the standings having each won six games.

Hartpury have a week off after three weeks of Championship Cup action. They resume their league campaign at Ampthill next weekend.
