SNOOKER: Joe O’Connor produced a milestone break during Thursday’s Championsh­ip League matches as he made the 200th official 147 in history.

It was the first maximum of the 28-year-old’s career, with his previous top break being 143. He went on to beat Elliot Slessor 3-2.

It was the 11th 147 of the 2023-24 season. Six- time world champion Steve Davis scored the first ever in 1982.
