Secret Poldark filming may be for key final scene
THIS picture shows a scene of the possible finale of the hit BBC drama Poldark that was being filmed in secret.
Eleanor Tomlinson and Aidan Turner were joined by other regular actors from the show for the latest session of location filming that had not been advertised in advance.
Photographer Simon Heester also claims he was dissuaded from taking pictures of the cast and made to feel less welcome than usual as he snapped the stars in Charlestown, Cornwall.
There was suggestion by onlookers that it might be because this scene was particularly important to the series, which has been confirmed as the final one by the BBC.
The fact that the two lead actors were present suggests that the scene being filmed will be a big one.
Both Eleanor Tomlinson and Aidan Turner were around for much of the day.
The actress, 26, and her on-screen husband, 35, were dressed in their period costumes and appeared in high spirits despite the rainy weather.
Eleanor wrapped up in a cosy purple dressing gown and black coat as they prepared to film scenes. The actress wore her red locks in an elegant chignon and finished off her costume with a green trilby hat.
Aidan had also transformed into his character Captain Ross Poldark, donning the signature hat and brown full-length coat.
The actor appeared to be doing some last minute revision of his lines as he arrived clutching his script.
As filming commenced, Aidan was seen walking around the set in the Harbour with the cast, with Eleanor boarding a boat.
