Saddles go in raid

FOURTEEN high-value saddles have been stolen from a livery stable in West Somerset.

Police are appealing for the public to be vigilant after the tack was taken from the Combe Florey area near Taunton between 9pm on November 9 and 6am on November 10.

A spokespers­on for Avon and Somerset police said: “We’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have informatio­n to help our enquiries.

“We think a vehicle may have been used to remove the items and would welcome any dashcam footage that anyone might have which would help our investigat­ion.”
