This episode visits various mums and dads who are struggling to raise their brood at Chester Zoo.
Young meerkat couple Beagle and Huskie have become parents for the first time and face hard work when their four pups are born.
Fairy bluebirds Terang and Bulu are ready to be parents and can lay eggs, but the eggs never successfully hatch into chicks. The keepers arrange an egg swap that might solve the problem.
Meanwhile, Spider monkey mum Kiara is finding it difficult to bring up her first daughter, Laura.
She’s overprotective and doesn’t like it when Laura wants to play with Willow, another baby spider monkey.
If Kiara’s behaviour doesn’t improve, she might have to be removed from the colony.
And elsewhere, showing everyone else up, are Painted dog couple K’mana and Ville, who have seven adolescent puppies. It doesn’t bear thinking about...
